Digging up old photos....

I have come to realize that I have not always been the best at documenting life..... I was trying to find some photos of Will and I when we first started dating and I can barely find a single photo for the first year of our dating. Sheesh! The only reasons I can think why this is so is because we were dating long distance and only saw one another on weekends and I hated the way I looked at the time. But still!

Here's to documenting life, no matter how silly or ugly it might be! Cheers!

Will and I look like absolute kids here. This was taken at the Mill in the fall of 2006.

This photo sucks. Well, Will looks OK. I was kinda chunky looking. Anyhow, this was St. Patty's Day, March 2007.

Will turns 21! Pre-drunk, I think.

Our first anniversary! September 2007.

Will and I at the Mill again... September 2007.

Halloween 2007.

His mom said she needed a holiday photo so we took this one in front of the tree. December 2007.

Blog I Love: Shop Vintage Portland

As a complete narcissist, I am a big fan of anyone who is just like me and likes all of the same things that I like. When I found the blog Shop Vintage Portland, I felt instantly at home with the reviews of thrift shops and colorful photos of stuff I would love to buy.... Like pastel colored ceramic goodies and Hawaiian printed bathing suits. It must be love!

Sycamore Mall Photobooth

I love photobooths, I love friends, and I love photos, hence why the photobooth has got to be one of my most favorite things in the world. I have dreams and ambitions to own one someday! Imagine how cool it would be to have a photobooth in your living room. If and when I get married, I totally want for there to be a photobooth at the reception cause that would just be amazing!

I am very grateful to have Kendra as a friend. We went to the same grade school and middle school but since she was one grade below me, I never hung out with her until high school. We were definitely partners in crime in our teen years but drifted apart when I went to college. Kendra and I didn't even speak to one another for years, so when I moved back with my parents a few years ago, I was grateful to have the opportunity to meet up with her again. She had just had Aurora and if it wasn't for my curiousity to meet her daughter, we probably would still not be speaking to one another.

It feels good to grow up a little bit and have stability in your relationships and friendships. We all go through different phases in our lives and grow in and out of friendships, so that must mean that the ones that stick around throughout the years are the truest friends of all. I feel very happy to have true friends at last because it seems that for years, I was constantly pushing people away and as a result, only had acquaintances- what a lonely life!

I love you, Kendra!

My Super Awesome New Bulletin Board

I am a huge fan of bulletin boards so you can imagine my delight when I found this giant bulletin board at Salvation army for 50% off of $2.50. Soo cheap that I got 2 of them!

I am happy to finally have a place to display some of the cute paper things I have collected in South Korea- post cards, stickers, call girl cards, and tags. Every time I look up at my bulletin board, I feel happy. I love seeing all of the things I love in one place. Visual stimuli overload!

Photofunia is Pretty Fun!

Gotta love Photoshop! Thanks to a slew of free photo editing programs on the net, you can reap the benefits of Photoshop without putting the effort into it! The other day a friend on Facebook had posted some great photoshopped goodies of herself online so I decided to follow suit and try some for myself. Very gratifying and easy! Maybe you can try it for yourself?
