I want, I want, I want!!!!

I think every once in a while it is a good idea to think really long and hard and access exactly what it is in life that you want. I have determined that my life right now really isn't so bad. I mean really, I have awesome friends, an awesome family, and an awesome boyfriend. I live in a fairly cool city with lots to do and get involved with, and I have the most frickin' amazing stock pile of cool shit in my possession.

In order to make my sweet life even sweeter, I require the following things:
  1. A better paying job- full-time, with benefits (Health Insurance, oh yeah!)
  2. An awesome apartment (We got that one nailed! Only 2 more months until move in!)
  3. An adorable and well trained dog, preferably a Goldendoodle
  4. An awesome and dependable car- I am thinking either a Mazda 3 or Honda Civic
  5. Great furniture for the awesome apartment including a leather couch
  6. A new laptop computer
  7. A vacation to somewhere outside of the U.S.
  8. An outlet for my creativity
  9. Somewhat of a disposable income so I can have fun
  10. A giant engagement ring on my finger

I am going to get started on these goals and mark my fucking word, I will achieve each and every one of them by December 31st, 2009. For real. Seriously!

Let's add to my obsession, shall we?

Little by little, my adorable collection is becoming complete. I got these towel hooks the other day courtesy of work, cause I am just that awesome at my job. I pretty much get a prize everyday and it makes me feel happily over qualified for the position. Hell, I can't complain too much- free stuff is free stuff!

I have become more accepting recently of my money situation. I am not broke and I make enough money to make it by. I am not being terribly mistreated and overworked like in my former postion and I get to live with my boyfriend and see my friends and family all of the time. Everything I need, I have and for that I am grateful. The future here looks bright and full of potential and for the first time in ages, I am feeling optimistic about my future here living in Iowa. Home never felt so good! Strange, all of these feelings could come about thanks to a couple of pear shaped towel hooks.

My Secret Weapon

Since starting a new job, I have been busy, busy, busy! So busy in fact, that washing my hair all of the time is no longer an option. Since my hair is fine and oily, it often times looks aweful after only half a day of running around.

The solution? Bumble and Bumble dry shampoo!!! I simply spray this brown colored hair powder onto my roots, brush it out, and go. No more pesky showers or drying and styling my hair twice a day. With dry shampoo, I can be as lazy as I want and no one is any the wiser:)

Best hair product ever.
